Hong Ying

Managing Partner / Chief Accountant of Grant Thornton, Beijing Certified Public Accountants Ms Hong Ying was born in July, 1950, Harbin city, Heilongjiang Province. She has been engaging in the field of financial accounting for 30 years and also has 18 years' experience in establishing, promoting and developing the CPA profession . She is now a board member of the CPA Association of Beijing, a member of the Guide Committee of Professional Technology Standards, a specially invited editor of China Securities Yearbook , a special consultant and editor of the List of Chinese Financial Specialists and Accounting Professionals, a board member of World Trade Center of Beijing, an honored professor of China Politics and Laws Studies University as well as a promoter and chief accountant of Beijing CPAs limited liability company.

Ms Hong Ying was an experienced, senior management staff of Beijing CPA Firm the first CPA firm in China. She is one of the few persons who got the CPA certificate in April, 1985, the registered number is 100080. She has abundant experience in promoting the development of this profession, especially in the field of opening market. As a result, she established several branches in Shanghai, Dalian, Qingdao, Shengzhen and Hainan etc. Besides that, she has successfully extended the service to Japan, Hong Kong and America and established the first Overseas Office in this profession throughout China. She holds unique opinion in the fields of Auditing, Accounting Management Consultation, Attracting Capital and Using International Capital to Finance. She also enjoys a good reputation and has got an extensive network and a firm base, in the field of cooperation among CPA firms and communication training. She was once a Financial Consultant of the World Bank for organizing the company's evaluation of finance project for the residence reform. And Ms Hong was ever appointed as a trainer by CICPA and its branches in Beijing and Heilongjinag province. Moreover, she, on behalf of CICPA, participated in the 15th conference of International Federation of Accountants in 1997. Ms Hong Ying had been a Manager of International Department of the Beijing CPA Firm for six years. During the following three years' work as a Manager of Overseas Department, she was the main responsible person and service consultant. Her Japanese clients included many first-class multinational corporations such as Miticu Bishi Shosha, Sumitomo, Itochu, Nisshoiwai, Toyota, Tomen, Nich Jmen and Shinnittetsu. She also took the responsibility for consultation of overseas finance, stock issuance, auditing, financial structure arrangement, appraisal of assets for ShouGang Corporation, China Strategic Holdings Limited, Trust Fund of Beijing, Beijing Holding Company and Beijing Continent and Ocean development Company, etc. In addition, Ms Hong is well acquainted with finance community, for instance, CITI Bank and DBS in Singapore. Ms Hong Ying had been to the US, Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Holland, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and other areas and countries on business, furthermore, she had worked in Hong Kong and Japan for three years.
